How do I set up CubWallet? ▾
Create a parent account with your email and password. Add your kids — give each one a name, avatar, birthday and 4-digit PIN. Set up chores with reward amounts and a weekly allowance. Kids open the app and see the "Who Are You?" screen where they tap their name and enter their PIN.
Does CubWallet handle real money? ▾
No — CubWallet is a ledger app. It tracks money like a scoreboard but no real money moves inside the app. When you approve a chore, the amount is logged to your child's wallet. You then hand over real cash or transfer it in whatever way works for your family.
How do kids log in? ▾
When kids open the app they see a "Who Are You?" screen with all family profiles. They tap their name and enter their private 4-digit PIN set by the parent. Each child gets their own dashboard — siblings can't see each other's wallets.
Can multiple devices use the same account? ▾
Yes. Sign in on any iPhone or iPad with your email and password. Everything syncs instantly.
How do kids mark a chore as done? ▾
Kids tap the circle next to a chore in their dashboard to mark it complete. It goes into a "waiting for approval" state and a notification badge appears on your parent dashboard. You then approve or deny it from the Chores tab.
When does allowance pay out? ▾
You set the allowance day in your parent dashboard. On that day your child's wallet shows an "Allowance" button they tap to claim it. You can change the day or amount anytime.
What is a Spend Request? ▾
When a child wants to use their money they submit a Spend Request from their dashboard. You get a notification and can approve or deny it. This keeps parents in full control of all spending decisions.
What are the Spend and Goals jars? ▾
When a child earns money they choose where it goes — Spend jar (everyday spending), Goals jar (saving toward something), or split 50/50. This teaches intentional money habits.
What are Family Contracts? ▾
Family Contracts are agreements between parent and child around chores, screen time, grades or savings goals. Both the parent and child sign with their PINs, making it official inside the app.
What plans does CubWallet offer? ▾
CubWallet offers two plans: Annual ($12.99/year, ~$1.08/month) and Monthly ($1.99/month). Both include all features and unlimited kids, plus a 7-day free trial.
How do I cancel my subscription? ▾
Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → find CubWallet → tap Cancel Subscription. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I cancel? ▾
Nothing is lost. Your family data — kids, chores, balances, history — is preserved and will be there when you return.
How do I restore a previous purchase on a new device? ▾
Open the app and tap "Restore Previous Purchase" on the subscription screen. Apple will check your App Store account and restore your active subscription automatically.
Is CubWallet COPPA compliant? ▾
Yes. Children never create accounts, never provide personal information, and never interact with our servers directly. Only the parent account interacts with cloud services.
What data does CubWallet collect? ▾
We collect your parent email address (for login), family app data (chore lists, allowance, kids' first names, balances), and optionally a push token for notifications. No location data, contacts, photos, or advertising data.
How do I delete my account and data? ▾
Email
cubwalletapp@gmail.com with the subject "Delete My Account." We will permanently delete your account and all family data within 7 business days.
My child forgot their PIN — how do I reset it? ▾
Open the parent dashboard, go to the Kids tab, tap on your child's profile, and select "Reset PIN." You can set a new 4-digit PIN without needing the old one.
I forgot my parent password — what do I do? ▾
On the sign-in screen tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. We'll send you a reset link to set a new password.
