Create a parent account with your email and password. Add your kids β each one gets a name, avatar, birthday and 4-digit PIN. Then set up chores with reward amounts and a weekly allowance. When kids open the app they see the "Who are you?" screen, tap their name and enter their PIN.
Does CubWallet handle real money?
No β CubWallet is a ledger. It tracks money like a scoreboard, but no real money moves inside the app. When you approve a chore, the amount is logged to your child's wallet. You hand over the cash, or transfer it, in whatever way works for your family.
How do kids log in?
Kids open the app and see the "Who are you?" screen with every family profile. They tap their name and enter their private 4-digit PIN, which you set. Each child gets their own dashboard β siblings can't see each other's wallets.
Can multiple devices use the same account?
Yes. Sign in on any iPhone or iPad with your email and password. Everything syncs instantly.
β Chores & allowance
How do kids mark a chore as done?
Kids tap the circle next to a chore on their dashboard. It moves into a waiting-for-approval state and a badge appears on your parent dashboard. You approve or deny it from the Chores tab.
When does allowance pay out?
You set the allowance day on your parent dashboard. On that day your child's wallet shows an Allowance button they tap to claim it. You can change the day or the amount anytime.
What is a spend request?
When a child wants to use their money they send a spend request from their dashboard. You get a notification and can approve or deny it, so you stay in control of every spending decision.
What are the Spend and Goals jars?
When a child earns money they choose where it goes β the Spend jar for everyday spending, the Goals jar for saving toward something, or a 50/50 split. It's what teaches the habit.
What are family contracts?
Family contracts are agreements between parent and child covering chores, screen time, grades or savings goals. Both of you sign with your PINs, which makes it official inside the app.
π³ Subscription & billing
What plans does CubWallet offer?
Two subscriptions: yearly at $12.99 (about $1.08/month) and monthly at $1.99. Both include every subscription feature and unlimited kids, plus a 14-day free trial. There's also Family Tools β a separate one-time $5.99 purchase that adds Entrepreneur Mode and Household Contributions.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone β tap your name β Subscriptions β CubWallet β Cancel Subscription. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing is lost. Your kids, chores, balances and history are preserved and will be there if you come back.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open the app and tap "Restore Previous Purchase" on the subscription screen. Apple checks your App Store account and restores your active subscription automatically.
π Account & privacy
Is CubWallet COPPA compliant?
