Privacy Policy

MINOVA Collections LLC ("CubWallet," "we," "us," or "our") built CubWallet to help families teach kids about money. We take privacy — especially children's privacy — seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using CubWallet, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who Controls the Account

CubWallet is designed to be set up and controlled by a parent or legal guardian. The parent creates the account, adds child profiles, and manages the information in the app. A child does not create their own account.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Parent account: email address and login credentials; optionally a display name.
  • Child profiles (entered by the parent): a first name or nickname, an avatar, an optional age range, and the family-money information you track — chores, goals, virtual jar balances, allowance settings, and educational investing-tracker entries.
  • Support requests: information you send us when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & notifications: a push-notification token and basic device type, so we can deliver notifications you enable.
  • Purchase status: whether you have an active subscription or add-on (via our billing provider) — we do not receive your full payment-card details.
  • Limited technical/diagnostic data needed to keep the app working.

We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos beyond what a feature explicitly requires, or more information from a child than is reasonably necessary to provide the Service.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide and operate the Service (accounts, jars, chores, goals, syncing across a family's devices).
  • To process subscriptions and unlock features you purchase.
  • To send notifications you have enabled (for example, a chore approval).
  • To provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with law.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

CubWallet is a family app, and we comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. Child profiles are created and controlled by a parent, who provides consent by setting up the account. We collect only the limited child information needed to run the Service.

For children, we do not: show behavioral or third-party advertising; sell or "share" personal information; or use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs that collect identifiers from children.

Parents may at any time: review the personal information associated with their child, request that we delete it, and refuse to allow further collection or use by deleting the account or the child's profile. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact cubwalletapp@gmail.com.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your or your children's personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers that host our data and infrastructure and process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Apple and our subscription-management provider, to process purchases and confirm entitlement (we do not receive full card numbers).
  • Notification providers, to deliver push notifications you enable.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer subject to this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and then delete it, except for limited information we must retain to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse.

7. Deleting Your Data

You may delete your account and associated data at any time using the in-app Delete Account option in Settings, or by emailing cubwalletapp@gmail.com from the email on the account. A parent may also request review or deletion of any child profile's data. We process verified deletion requests within 30 days; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our normal rotation (no longer than 90 days). Note that deleting your CubWallet account does not cancel an Apple subscription or delete data held by Apple — manage that in your Apple ID settings. See our full Data Deletion page for details.

8. Your Choices & State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, contact cubwalletapp@gmail.com; we will verify and respond as required by law.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
